Operational Policies

The programs, courses, and expeditions offered by The Four Winds Society are intensive journeys that move students into deep healing in every aspect of their lives. In order to receive the full benefit of the programs, courses, and expeditions, students must be committed to their journey and the healing process. The purpose of these Policies is to encourage students to commit to the process and thereby avoid cancellation.

1. Registration for all classes is available via phone, online, email, fax or in person. A receipt will be given for all payments made, including when a student is paid in full. Registration for class is available up to class start date and time.

2. If a student desires to withdraw from a class before the start of the class, the student must send a written withdrawal letter to the Dean of Students at least 30 days before the course start date. The student will receive a 100% refund of the cost of the class, but only to the extent that any funds have been paid to and received by the Four Winds Society, minus a cancellation fee of 150.00 US$, EURO, or AUD depending on class location.

3. If a student desires to withdraw within the 30 days before the course start date, or on the first day after a class has commenced, the student must: (a) speak to the lead teacher of the course (if the course has already commenced, the student must speak with the teacher before leaving the site location or venue); and (b) the student must send a written withdrawal letter to the Dean of Students within five days after speaking with the lead teacher of the course. Whether a refund will be issued, or whether a credit is given for a future course, will depend upon the circumstances of the situation, and will be made on a case-by-case basis, in the absolute discretion of The Four Winds Society. If a refund is approved, the student will receive a refund of the cost of the pending class, but only to the extent that any funds have been paid to and received by the Four Winds Society, minus a cancellation fee of 300.00 US$, EURO, or AUD depending on class location.

4. If a student has taken one or more classes, and wishes to withdraw from a pending Healing the Light Body course or Master’s course, the student must: (a) speak with the Dean or Associate Dean of the Healing the Light Body School; and (b) send a written withdrawal letter to the Dean of Students at least 14 days before the commencement of the pending course. Whether a refund will be issued, or whether a credit is given for a future course will depend upon the circumstances of the situation, and will be made on a case-by-case basis, in the absolute discretion of The Four Winds Society. If a refund is approved, the student will receive a refund of the cost of the pending class, but only to the extent that any funds have been paid to and received by the Four Winds Society, minus a cancellation fee of 300.00 US$, EURO, or AUD depending on class location.
