Karen Johnson was called to study shamanic energy medicine following a spiritual awakening and ensuing desire to teach others the way beyond death and how to dream their world into being. Karen is a graduate of Georgetown Law Center and holds master’s degrees in Public Health and Public and International Affairs (JD, MPH, MPIA). A retired federal administrative law judge, she practiced criminal and energy law for over 30 years, is a former hospital administrator and Fulbright Scholar in Afghanistan. Today she is a happy nomad who practices shamanic healing along the Way.
Ruby Parker’s career in the healing arts spans over 20 years and includes work as a massage therapist, Reiki master, personal counselor, and Energy Medicine practitioner focused on the connection of mind, body and soul. Ruby is Assistant Director of Alternative and Complementary Health at The Sanctuary at Sedona. A graduate of the Four Winds with master certification in Energy Medicine, she is also part of the faculty of the Light Body School.
Trained by Dr. Alberto Villoldo, Karen Hoza is a graduate of The Light Body School, holds a Masters Certification, and works as a teaching assistant and academic advisor for the Four Winds Society. She is gifted at creating and holding safe sacred space for rites of passage, ceremony, personal transformation, and self-empowerment for groups and individuals. Deeply connected to the Divine Feminine, Karen is inspired to share creative wisdom with all those ready to experience transformation in their lives.
Marcel Heyder explored many spiritual traditions and healing techniques before finding his life purpose in shamanism. For over a decade he has worked with groups and individuals in Germany, finding deep satisfaction in supporting others as they grow, discover true freedom and reclaim their sacred energy. He has enriched his personal experience with frequent travel to Asia and the Amazon and feels a deep connection to nature and the wisdom, light, and energy of the sacred medicine of the Amazon.
Moritz Reimann is a graduate of the Light Body School who works with groups and individuals around the world. His spiritual journey began 20 years ago, and he is driven by a fascination with how consciousness shapes reality. His calling is to help others release all impediments to living their full potential and to help clients navigate these times of change with grace and ease.
Elise Kost has devoted two decades to guiding individuals and groups to claim courage and fully personify their beauty and joyful vitality of body, heart-mind, and spirit. She is a passionate poet, life coach, energy medicine practitioner, master certified Four Winds graduate, and lead faculty of The Light Body School. Greatly influenced by Nature and devoted to the Mystery, Elise helps others discover the Sacred, deepen their sense of trust, self-compassion, empowerment, and love for the transformational journey of creating a conscious life of wisdom, peace, and inspiration.
Dean Taraborelli has traveled to sacred sites in over 30 countries to study and experience the wisdom of ancient cultures. His interaction with people from many nations has given him insight into world religions, beliefs, mythology, rites of passage, rituals and spiritual healing. Dean is the founder of the Sanctuary – A Life Transformation Center in Sedona, AZ., where he is actively and daily engaged as an energy medicine practitioner.
Lynn Berryhill is an acclaimed artist whose paintings are featured in collections throughout the U.S. and Europe. Lynn has taught creativity classes, is an active energy medicine practitioner, and loves to teach. Her creative spirit lets her easily take students into the realms of the soul to learn to work with destiny.
Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D., is a psychologist and medical anthropologist who has studied the shamanic healing practices of the Amazon and Andes for over 30 years. At San Francisco State University, he directed the Biological Self-Regulation Laboratory to study how the mind creates psychosomatic health and disease. He is also the founder of the Four Winds Society, an organization dedicated to bridging ancient shamanic traditions with modern medicine and psychology.

Sebastián nació en Quito, Ecuador, y desde muy joven se involucró en practicas ancestrales que honran a la Tierra. En esos espacios encontró un cariño y entusiasmo por las celebraciones estacionales que mantienen su enfoque en la divinidad Femenina.En su país estudió una pequeña carrera en Ciencias Ancestrales y luego se formó en psicoterapia gestáltica en Argentina. Durante este tiempo, profundizo en su llamado y se inicio como Sacerdote de la Diosa de la Cruz del Sur.
Sebastián ha realizado especializaciones en orientación humanista, trabajo terapéutico con síntomas, y desarrollo transpersonal. También, ha participado como ceremonialista y tallerista en eventos como: El Orgullo Pagano (Quito 2013), La Conferencia de la Diosa (Capilla del Monte, Argentina, 2009), Retiros de convivencia y vinculo sagrado con la Tierra (Sangolqui, Quito, 2008).
Su interés por la investigación y la práctica de las tradiciones milenarias lo llevaron a seguir de cerca la trayectoria del Dr. Villoldo, para eventualmente formarse en los programas de la Rueda Medicinal y el Munay Ki de Los Cuatro Caminos.
Fernanda nació y fue criada en el campo, rodeada de cerros, ríos y animales. Desde pequeña su mejor panorama fue perderse en los cerros, teniendo un profundo contacto con la Madre Tierra y sus elementos. Su entorno familiar, Árabe, contenía gran cantidad de ritos y misticismos. A los 9 años comienza estudios de Metafísica y a los 15 de Yoga y Tarot. A partir de ese momento, su pasión por los ritos y ceremonias en comunión con la naturaleza, las artes ocultas y el cuerpo como medio de canalización, liberación y expresión de energía fueron creciendo.
Fernanda estudió Artes y Psicología, es egresada de Pedagogía en Danza con mención en terapia corporal. Inspirada por esa profunda pasión por el cuerpo y sus formas continuó los estudios como profesora de yoga integral, Anusara yoga y terapeuta floral.
Por último, egresó de la escuela Los Cuatro Caminos con mención en Medicina Energética y Chamánica. Actualmente trabaja en la escuela Los Cuatro Caminos y Four Winds Society, y atiende como terapeuta Integral en su consulta privada.
Antonella nació en Lima, Perú e inició su exploración en el ámbito del aprendizaje humano a través de diversos procesos de transformación personal, formándose finalmente como Coach Ontológico Integral.
Ha dirigido procesos de aprendizaje y terapéuticos enfocados en la transformación de personas y comunidades a través de experiencias vivenciales. Como parte de su proceso de sanación encontró un especial y profundo sentido en el poder de la medicina energética como medio de reencuentro con lo más esencial de cada persona, su propio poder y medicina, lo que la llevó a formarse en los programas de la Rueda Medicinal y el Munay-Ki de la escuela Los Cuatro Caminos. Born into a lineage of shamans, Lauren grew up working closely with tools of spirit and assisting others in their healing journey. During her early adult years she explored alternate paths, finding that all roads returned to her roots. A former social worker and retired technology executive, Larry began dreaming his world into being in 2014. The concept of moving beyond story was life changing. Larry now lives in Pennsylvania and practices shamanic healing full time, specializing in recovery, PTSD, major life changes, and restoring joy and vitality after a loss or trauma.

Karen Johnson was called to study shamanic energy medicine following a spiritual awakening and ensuing desire to teach others the way beyond death and how to dream their world into being. Karen is a graduate of Georgetown Law Center and holds master’s degrees in Public Health and Public and International Affairs (JD, MPH, MPIA). A retired federal administrative law judge, she practiced criminal and energy law for over 30 years, is a former hospital administrator and Fulbright Scholar in Afghanistan. Today she is a happy nomad who practices shamanic healing along the Way.
Moritz Reimann is a graduate of the Light Body School who works with groups and individuals around the world. His spiritual journey began 20 years ago, and he is driven by a fascination with how consciousness shapes reality. His calling is to help others release all impediments to living their full potential and to help clients navigate these times of change with grace and ease.
Patricia Iris, MD, MPH is a western-trained medical doctor whose holistic approach includes Ayurveda, Yoga, Energy Medicine and Functional Medicine. She integrates Eastern tools and practices with Western techniques to optimize health. As a shamanic energy medicine practitioner, Dr. Iris provides a personalized healing experience that assists her clients to achieve mental clarity, physical vitality, emotional equilibrium, and spiritual growth. A tracker of subtle energies, lost soul parts, and old blockages, Steffen Büffel is an intuitive listener who supports his clients in crafting new mythic maps for their lives. Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D., is a psychologist and medical anthropologist who has studied the shamanic healing practices of the Amazon and Andes for over 30 years. At San Francisco State University, he directed the Biological Self-Regulation Laboratory to study how the mind creates psychosomatic health and disease. He is also the founder of the Four Winds Society, an organization dedicated to bridging ancient shamanic traditions with modern medicine and psychology.
Dean Taraborelli has traveled to sacred sites in over 30 countries to study and experience the wisdom of ancient cultures. His interaction with people from many nations has given him insight into world religions, beliefs, mythology, rites of passage, rituals and spiritual healing. Dean is the founder of the Sanctuary – A Life Transformation Center in Sedona, AZ., where he is actively and daily engaged as an energy medicine practitioner.
Marcel Heyder explored many spiritual traditions and healing techniques before finding his life purpose in shamanism. Jim Dewell A native of Southern California, Jim Dewell is a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology, and of The George Washington University, School of Medicine. He was board certified in Family Medicine, which he both taught and practiced. In 1992, he left the practice of western medicine. A graduate of the Four Winds Society, he maintains a shamanic healing practice in Southern California.
Peter Bonaker received his Ph.D. in the field of education from the University of Denver in Colorado where he is currently an adjunct professor. In 2009 Peter founded the Institute for Spiritual Advancement in Denver where he is an energy medicine practitioner with clients from around the world and is the Institute’s Program Director.
Amina Meineker is a business economist with more than 20 years experience in finance, strategy and business development. She loves the clarity, elegance and efficiency of the energy medicine taught by Dr. Villoldo. Amina is half-Indian, half-German and is someone who builds bridges between worlds. She has a private practice, teaches, and is a business consultant. Her passion is to unfold the great potential of each human being and organization with which she works.
Chris Prietto, RN, has been a registered nurse for 37 years and has vast experience in Pediatric Oncology, Emergency Room and Surgical nursing, Myofascial Release and Cranio-Sacral body work. Chris is one of the lead teachers in the Dying Consciously Program, a program providing a long overdue opportunity to help people from all walks of life assist their patients, friends and family members make their greatest journey one of peace and dignity.
Dirk Zschocke is a graduate biologist, naturopath, shaman, therapist for psycho-energetic bodywork and holistic massage, and one of the few certified Tian Yan Nei Gong teachers in the world. Dirk is the founder of the “Center for holistic, healthy life, expression and creativity – URgesund” and the “Tian Yan Nei Gong Center“ in Giessen, Germany. Dirk Zschocke is a trained biologist, artist and world citizen. Building from this scientific and creative background, he entered into the field of healing work, starting with holistic massage. Alberto traded his laboratory for a pair of hiking boots and a ticket to the Amazon—determined to learn from researchers whose vision had not been confined to the lens of a microscope, from people whose body of knowledge encompassed more than the measurable, material world that he had been taught was the ONLY reality. He wanted to meet the people who sensed the spaces between things and perceived the luminous strands that animate all life. Scattered throughout the remands and Amazon were a number of sages or “Earth Keepers” who remembered the ancient ways. Alberto traveled through countless villages and hamlets and met with scores of medicine men and women. The lack of a written body of knowledge meant that every village had brought its own flavor and style to the healing practices that still survived.
For more than 10 years, Alberto trained with the jungle medicine people. In healing his own soul wounds, Alberto walked the path of the wounded healer and learned to transform old pain, grief, anger and shame to sources of strength and compassion.
From the Amazon, Alberto trekked the coast of Peru, from Nazca, the site of gigantic markings on the desert floor that depict power animals and geometric figures, to the fabled Shimbe lagoons in the North, home to the country’s most renowned shamans.
