En Am\u00e9rica, los Maestros del Tiempo son los sacerdotes jaguar. Los sacerdotes mayas del jaguar son conocidos como los Balam y su libro sagrado es el Chelam Belam. La gran ense\u00f1anza del jaguar es superar el miedo a la muerte, para que deje de vivir en nosotros. En Occidente, empezamos a morir lentamente y a quedarnos cada vez m\u00e1s sin vida a medida que vivimos la vida en la ajetreada rueda del h\u00e1mster. El jaguar siempre est\u00e1 a nuestro lado, invocamos al jaguar y \u00e9l responde.<\/p>\n

Las distintas culturas tienen diferentes conceptos del tiempo basados en sus mitolog\u00edas. En la Biblia, la historia del origen trata de la divisi\u00f3n del espacio. Los chamanes creen que la creaci\u00f3n se produjo en torno a la divisi\u00f3n del tiempo. Abundan los henges de piedra y los calendarios; los antiguos estaban fascinados con las estaciones, los solsticios y equinoccios, y los ciclos de las mujeres del pueblo. El tiempo fluye como un r\u00edo a trav\u00e9s de ti, y las corrientes bajo el r\u00edo del tiempo pueden llevarte de vuelta a la fuente. El tiempo es un r\u00edo que podemos navegar. Cuando entras en un tiempo que se retuerce y gira como una rueda, puedes seguirle la pista al futuro y darle un codazo al destino. El seguimiento del futuro s\u00f3lo funciona si T\u00da no eres lo primero: preg\u00fantate qu\u00e9 es lo mejor para mi planeta, mi pa\u00eds, mi pueblo y, por \u00faltimo, para m\u00ed. Incurres en una enorme deuda k\u00e1rmica con el cosmos cuando rastreas para ti mismo.<\/p>\n

Para los Laika, el tiempo est\u00e1 entrelazado con el espacio, de forma muy parecida al concepto f\u00edsico de espacio-tiempo. Los chamanes lo llaman pacha<\/em>. Es la base de la palabra Pachamama, o Madre Tierra, nuestro hogar en el tiempo y el espacio. Dado que el espacio y el tiempo est\u00e1n profundamente conectados en la cosmolog\u00eda andina<\/a>, no es descabellado imaginar que se podr\u00eda atravesar el tiempo del mismo modo que se puede viajar por el paisaje.<\/p>\n

Si esto le resulta dif\u00edcil de imaginar, pruebe con la definici\u00f3n de espacio-tiempo en f\u00edsica. La esencia de la teor\u00eda de la relatividad general de Einstein suele describirse as\u00ed: la materia le dice al espacio-tiempo c\u00f3mo curvarse, y el espacio-tiempo curvado le dice a la materia c\u00f3mo moverse.<\/p>\n

Ahora sabemos que el tejido del espacio-tiempo tiene ondulaciones y pliegues, y sin embargo nos aferramos a la vieja idea de que la \u00fanica forma de introducir cambios es informarnos del pasado, hacer modificaciones en el presente y esperar que nos coloquemos en una buena trayectoria hacia el futuro. Pero si el tiempo-espacio se comporta como una esfera en constante cambio, podr\u00edamos promulgar el cambio inform\u00e1ndonos del futuro y alterando el pasado, en lugar de informarnos del pasado y planificar el futuro.<\/p>\n

Los chamanes viajan a lugares de realidad no ordinaria para aprovechar la maleabilidad del espacio-tiempo. Al entrar en estos espacios, puede experimentar el futuro, el presente y el pasado simult\u00e1neamente y volver a su vida cotidiana consciente de una llamada del futuro que antes le era invisible. Percibir\u00e1s tu pasado de forma diferente y ver\u00e1s las semillas de lo que est\u00e1 destinado a florecer en el futuro, y tu estado mental actual se transformar\u00e1 a medida que cambie la plataforma que tienes debajo.<\/p>\n
