A veces todo lo que vemos delante, detr\u00e1s, a un lado y a otro es la muerte. Para el cham\u00e1n esto puede ser una llamada a la iniciaci\u00f3n, y somos afortunados cuando podemos tener tal experiencia antes de que llegue nuestra muerte f\u00edsica.<\/p>\n<p>El peligro est\u00e1 cuando no nos permitimos morir simb\u00f3licamente y renacer, y en su lugar nos perdemos en un lugar gris y prohibitivo entre mundos. A continuaci\u00f3n, el cham\u00e1n debe realizar una recuperaci\u00f3n del alma de su cliente para recuperar esa parte del alma y que la persona pueda volver a vivir plenamente. Parte del proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n del alma consiste en renegociar un nuevo acuerdo con el Esp\u00edritu, cambiando antiguos votos y promesas t\u00f3xicas por contratos que afirmen m\u00e1s la vida.<\/p>\n<p>El viaje de recuperaci\u00f3n del alma llev\u00f3 a Jean a trav\u00e9s de sus a\u00f1os en un convento hasta una \u00e9poca muy lejana, enterrada profundamente en su interior y olvidada. Misterios de toda una vida desvelados, poniendo a prueba su sentido de la realidad, pero no su fe. Jean hizo lo impensable y pidi\u00f3 una dispensa de sus Votos Perpetuos hechos con toda sinceridad para toda la vida, creyendo que la guiaba el Esp\u00edritu Santo. Pod\u00eda quitarse el h\u00e1bito religioso y volver al mundo, pero no pod\u00eda despojarse del sufrimiento tan f\u00e1cilmente.<\/p>\n<p>Un distorsionado ennoblecimiento del sufrimiento hab\u00eda formado parte de su legado familiar, transmitido de generaci\u00f3n en generaci\u00f3n. En su lecho de muerte, la querida abuela de Jeans hab\u00eda llevado este tema del sufrimiento a un nuevo nivel. De pie junto a su abuela, al lado del sacerdote con sus aceites de unci\u00f3n, Jean recibi\u00f3 estas \u00faltimas palabras: \u00abJean, tus brazos est\u00e1n extendidos en la cruz con Jes\u00fas. Ayudar\u00e1s a las almas con tu sufrimiento. Eres una elegida, especial\u00bb. La pesadez pesaba sobre el alma de Jean y oprim\u00eda su esp\u00edritu.<\/p>\n<p>Durante una recuperaci\u00f3n de almas, en la c\u00e1mara de las heridas, apareci\u00f3 una sala parecida a una mazmorra con un crucifijo de lat\u00f3n. En la cama hab\u00eda una figura delgada, la hermana Francis, la herida, un recipiente de sufrimiento. Encendiendo un fuego de luz transformadora, Jean y la Hermana Francis sacaron de las sombras todas las heridas que se hab\u00edan convertido en tejido conjuntivo para el alma de la Hermana Francis: el dolor, la humillaci\u00f3n, la soledad, la depresi\u00f3n, lo desconocido, los juicios, los susurros, la culpa infundada, la soledad est\u00e9ril, el puro vac\u00edo. A medida que las heridas eran consumidas por el fuego, la habitaci\u00f3n de la hermana Francis se convert\u00eda en un lugar de curaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La hermana Francis, esa parte de lo que Jean era antes de despojarse de su h\u00e1bito, reconoci\u00f3 que la miseria, la rumiaci\u00f3n y el raspado de heridas ten\u00edan que terminar para que Jean pudiera volver a la belleza original de su alma, y para que sanara.<\/p>\n<p>Por muy eficaces que sean las pr\u00e1cticas cham\u00e1nicas, la curaci\u00f3n no debe verse como una intervenci\u00f3n, sino como un viaje. El trabajo de Jean no hab\u00eda terminado tras recuperar a la hermana Francis y quemar sus heridas en el fuego. Quedaba mucho por hacer. La curaci\u00f3n se produce a muchos niveles, y a veces el cuerpo va por detr\u00e1s de la mente y la mente por detr\u00e1s del alma.
