ACCOMMODATIONS
We will spend two of the five nights in this expedition at our hotel in the Sacred Valley and will be camping for three nights in the mountain.
The Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness is built on the banks of the Vilcanota River, on the lands of an old colonial hacienda of the 17th century, which was completely restored to provide luxury accommodations while preserving the original details of that time.

DAY BY DAY

Day 1: Sacred Valley
Morning hike to Pumamarca, ceremony to set our intentions for the Holy Mountain. Lunch on your own.
Day 2: Mt. Ausangate
Early in the morning we travel to Ocongate to begin our trek. We meet the Laika and our expedition crew and camp by the hot springs.
Day 3: Mt. Ausangate
Hike to Azul Cocha (Blue Lagoon) and set up camp. Late afternoon ceremony at Azul Cocha.
Day 4: Mt. Ausangate
Ceremony at the Female Jaguar Lagoon. Despacho offerings at the foot of the glacier.
Day 5: Mt. Ausangate
Hiking or horseback ride to Alca Cocha, ceremony with the “Keeper of the Rainbow”. Hike down to hot springs and return to Sacred Valley.
Day 6: Sacred Valley
Rest. Closing Ceremony. We end at noon. Transfer to the Cusco Airport
