ACCOMMODATIONS
The Sonesta Posada del Inca was built on the lands of an old colonial monastery from the 17th century, and completely restored to provide luxury accommodations while preserving the original details of that time. Tents provided during camping portion.
DAY BY DAY
Sample itinerary subject to change.
Day 1: Afternoon meeting in our hotel. Introductions to the shamans and overview of the goals and objectives of the Expedition. Evening fire ceremony. Hotel.
Day 2: Hike to Mt Pumamarca for a healing ceremony and calling on the medicine of the jaguar and its lessons of the journey beyond death. Hotel.
Day 3: Drive to the foot of Mt. Pachatusan and meet our shamans who join us for a 3-hour hike to our camp in the belly of the Holy Mountain, our campsite that our porters and staff have prepared. Sunset ceremony. Camping.
Day 4: Morning prayer at the lagoons, healings with the Keeper of the Mountain. Reading of the prophecy of the Time to Come. This is an opportunity to shed the limitations that live inside each one of us, and to break the spell of the nightmare of history that we are living under. Camping.
Day 5: Initiation as Earthkeepers. An empowerment rite where we are initiated into a lineage of medicine men and women dedicated to the welfare of all beings. The shamans transmit to each of us the wisdom, the kindness, and the courage to dream a new world into being. Camping.
Day 6: Visit to the Temple of Tipon, the ‘palace of flowers’ and prayers at the Sun Temple at the top of the archeological site. Closing lecture and ceremony with Alberto & the shamans. After a picnic lunch, we drive back to our hotel for showers!
Day 7: Leisurely morning at our hotel & afternoon start of the VIA Illumininata.
