Ancient Wisdom in Modern Meals – a unique synergy of shamanism and culinary expertise

Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D., is a medical anthropologist who has devoted his career to researching the healing sciences of the Amazon and the Andean sages, and the plant-based formulas that create health. Dr. Villoldo directs the Four Winds Society, where he trains individuals in the practice of energy medicine. He has pioneered wellness programs at Six Senses Spas in Kaplankaya and Ibiza, led grand rounds at Lanserhof Wellness, and is the medical director of Los Lobos Spa in Chile. He directed the Biological Self-Regulation laboratory at San Francisco State University and has been a visiting professor at Columbia University. He has authored

Conny Andersson is a celebrated chef who most recently served as general manager of Six Senses Kaplankaya in Turkey. He has held the corporate chef role for the Six Senses brand and leadership positions with El Dorado Golf & Beach Club and with Four Seasons properties around the world, including the Beverly Wilshire and Four Seasons Beverly Hills. His broad-ranging culinary experiences include cooking on The Oprah Winfrey Show; working with Morgan Freeman on his cookbook Morgan Freeman and Friends; and participating in fundraising projects with Chefs Across America, the National Kidney Foundation, and Susan G. Komen.
